NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk is procuring preventive maintenance and battery replacement services for Vertiv/Liebert Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) at the Regional Operations Center, Norfolk Naval Base. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Office Code N00189 - OEMs and Vendors: - Vertiv (including Liebert brand) - Only authorized Vertiv vendors with factory-trained technicians are eligible - Products/Services Requested: - Replacement of 40 Vertiv HX540 VRLA (sealed) batteries - Fan and capacitor replacements for Liebert NX480 UPS units - Preventive maintenance for UPS and stationary battery systems (semi-annual and annual visits) - Battery verification services (2 site visits) - Power distribution systems preventive maintenance (annual) - Stationary battery systems preventive maintenance (4 visits/year) - Battery recycling and compliance with manufacturer/IEEE standards - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All services must be performed by authorized Vertiv vendors using factory-trained technicians - Full-string battery replacement includes removal, installation, testing, commissioning, and recycling - Preventive maintenance includes inspections, diagnostics, thermal scans, firmware updates, and configuration backups - Contract includes a base year plus four option years and a possible six-month extension
