The City of Georgetown is seeking bids for the Cedar Hollow Water Line Improvements project in the Cedar Hollow subdivision. - Government Buyer: - City of Georgetown Purchasing Department - Project Scope: - Installation of approximately 44,200 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water line - Includes 40 gate valves, 98 fire hydrant assemblies, 170 8-inch 11.25° bends, 15 8-inch 22.5° bends, 85 8-inch 45° bends, 16 air release valves, and 10 autoflush assemblies - Additional materials: ductile iron pipe, reinforced concrete pipe, hot mix asphaltic concrete pavement, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks/driveways/flatwork, flowable backfill, and riprap - Services Required: - Trench safety plan for trenches 5 feet or deeper - Traffic control plan designed and sealed by a Texas Professional Engineer - Tree pruning by ISA certified arborist - Asphalt and concrete repair services - Notable Requirements: - Compliance with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations - Adherence to Texas prevailing wage laws and trench safety standards - Environmental protection measures - Performance and payment bonds, insurance, and safety plans required - Experience with similar water line projects must be demonstrated - OEMs: - No specific OEMs are named; standard waterworks materials (PVC pipe, valves, hydrants) are required - Bidding documents available online and at the consulting engineer's office (Kasberg, Patrick & Associates, LP) - Liquidated damages of $1,000 per day for late completion - Warranty period of one year after final acceptance

The City of Georgetown is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of water line improvements in the Cedar Hollow subdivision. The project includes furnishing and installing approximately 44,200 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water line, gate valves, fire hydrants, water service connections, asphalt and concrete repairs, and other related construction activities. Bids must be submitted electronically or by sealed envelope by August 20, 2026. A non-mandatory virtual pre-bid conference will be held on August 11, 2026.
