The City of Farmington, New Mexico, through Red Apple Transit and the Farmington Metropolitan Planning Organization, is seeking a qualified transportation planning consultant to conduct a Comprehensive Operational Analysis and Microtransit Implementation Plan (COA). The study will evaluate Red Apple Transit's existing fixed-route and Dial-A-Ride services and provide a practical, financially sustainable roadmap for improving service delivery, including the introduction of microtransit service, throughout Farmington and the surrounding service area. Proposals must be submitted through the City's online bidding system by September 1, 2026. The contract award is contingent upon City Council approval and funding appropriation.
