The City of Toledo Department of Public Works/Division of Water Reclamation is seeking a contractor to clean and repair Aeration Tanks #1 and #4 at the Bay View Water Reclamation Plant. - Government Buyer: - City of Toledo Department of Public Works/Division of Water Reclamation - OEMs and Vendors: - Slide gates: Whipps, Golden Harvest, Hydro Gate - Valves: Henry Pratt, DeZurik, Mueller - Actuators: Rotork Controls, Inc., Limitorque - Products/Services Requested: - Cleaning and removal of grit and sludge from two aeration tanks, including transport and disposal at an approved landfill - Replacement of approximately 1,370 air diffuser sleeves and clamps (serving about 685 diffusers per tank) - Replacement of up to 40 broken air diffusers (20 per tank) - Replacement of mixed liquor tank isolation slide gate (ML-44) with actuator (Rotork or Limitorque models specified) - Replacement of aeration tank drain valves (up to 12, must meet AWWA C-517 standards) - Inspection and repair of air headers and piping as needed - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All slide gates and valves must be from specified OEMs - Actuators must be Rotork Controls, Inc. Description
The City of Toledo DPW/Water Reclamation is soliciting bids for labor, equipment, and materials to clean one aeration tank, replace air diffuser sleeves and clamps, air diffusers as needed, replace valves, make repairs as needed, and transport and dispose of removed material at an approved landfill.
