The Region of York is seeking qualified contractors for the rehabilitation of a 100-meter section of a 1,500mm watermain on Kennedy Road, south of Carlton Road, in Markham. - Project scope: - Structural linear repair of a large-diameter municipal watermain - Use of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) technology - CFRP product must comply with AWWA C305-18 design standard - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; any CFRP solution meeting the standard is acceptable - Contractor requirements: - Demonstrated experience with large-diameter municipal watermain projects - Valid Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) certification - Submission of digital bid bonds and undertakings to bond - All bids must be submitted electronically via the Region’s Bids and Tenders website - Contract duration is six months

This tender is for the rehabilitation of an approximately 100m section of the Kennedy Road 1,500mm watermain using Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) structural linear repair, located south of Carlton Road in the City of Markham.
