The Town of Plainfield has received funding through the Municipal Energy Resilience Program (MERP) to implement energy efficiency and resilience improvements at multiple municipal buildings including the Town Hall & Opera House, Wastewater Treatment Facility, Town Garage, Firehouse, and Municipal Office Building. The town is seeking Building Enclosure Commissioning services with accelerated pre-design and design phases based on existing energy assessments, as well as construction and post-construction phase services. A combined site visit for potential bidders is scheduled for August 13, 2026, at the Municipal Office Building. Questions must be submitted in writing by August 14, 2026, and answers will be provided by August 17, 2026.
