The City of Baconton is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of the AMR Water Meter Replacement project, DWSRF 2026-001. The project scope includes replacing existing water meters with approximately 445 new 5/8" x 3/4" AMR water meters, removing and replacing about 150 water meter boxes and lids, replacing 150 curb stops, installing 455 backflow preventers, and providing a laptop meter reading device and software.
