The Fort Vancouver Regional Library is seeking proposals for high-speed Internet connectivity for its new Washougal facility. - Government Buyer: - Fort Vancouver Regional Library (FVRL), Washington State - Products/Services Requested: - Fully managed, leased lit fiber Ethernet Internet access service - Symmetrical bandwidth: minimum 1 Gbps, maximum 10 Gbps - Quantity: 1 service - Includes provider-owned electronics, installation, testing, and turn-up - All engineering, permitting, construction, and installation required (including outside plant/infrastructure) - All monthly recurring and non-recurring charges must be included - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compliance with FCC E-Rate program rules is mandatory - Provider must have a valid SPIN and SPAC, and be able to process SPI invoicing - Service must support transition from the existing Washougal Library, with possible temporary overlap - Activation date negotiable to align with construction schedule - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Opportunity is open to all qualified providers of managed lit fiber Internet services

Description

Fort Vancouver Regional Library is seeking proposals for a fully managed, leased lit fiber Ethernet Internet access service or equivalent to a new library facility currently under construction at 222 Durgan St, Washougal, WA 98671. The service will replace the existing Internet connection at the current Washougal Library location and support the transition to the new facility. The selected service provider may be required to perform all necessary engineering, permitting, construction, and installation activities, including any outside plant or infrastructure required to deliver service to the new location. The requested service includes symmetrical Ethernet Internet access over leased lit fiber, managed service with provider-owned electronics, installation, testing, turn-up, and compliance with all FCC E-Rate program rules and requirements. The applicant reserves the right to negotiate service activation dates to accommodate construction schedules and temporary overlap during the transition period.
