SUNY Buffalo is seeking bids from NYS Certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOBs) for a three-year contract to provide an enterprise search platform and associated support services. - Government Buyer: - State University of New York (SUNY), SUNY Buffalo - Senior Buyer: Alex Borichevskiy - OEMs and Vendors: - Squiz, Inc. (OEM for Funnelback Standard software) - Equivalent OEMs may be proposed - Products/Services Requested: - Funnelback Standard (or equivalent) annual software license (1 per year, 3 years total) - Customer Care Core Annual Support and Maintenance (or equivalent) with 24x7 incident management and unlimited support (1 per year, 3 years total) - Enterprise search platform must support: - Indexing from multiple sources (UBCMS, Oracle, file systems) - Relevance tuning, faceted navigation, customizable UI - Search analytics, content auditing, integration with Adobe CMS - Personalization, RESTful API, robust security and access control - Scalability for up to 500,000 documents, structured/unstructured data - Custom server-side logic, flexible crawl scheduling - Knowledge transfer and training for UB staff - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strictly set aside for NYS Certified SDVOBs; 100% SDVOB participation goal - Three-year contract with annual renewals - Knowledge transfer and training required for UB developers and administrators

Description

The University at Buffalo intends to procure a comprehensive search platform to renew its search and insight platform ensuring continuity, scalability, and enhanced discovery across its campus web properties. The platform must support enterprise search, relevance tuning, faceted navigation, customizable UI, search analytics, content auditing, integration with Adobe CMS, personalization, RESTful API, security and access control, scalability, support for structured and unstructured data, custom server-side logic, crawl scheduling, and knowledge transfer. This opportunity is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) Set Aside, limited to NYS Certified SDVOBs. The contract term is three years and the procurement is under discretionary purchasing authority.
