Description

The Development Authority of the North Country is issuing an Invitation For Bids (IFB) for the furnishing of all materials and labor to install optical fiber for the National Telecommunications Information Administration (NTIA) Middle Mile Segments 1, 2, and 8. The project includes both aerial and underground installation of optical fiber along highway or electric line right-of-ways in Jefferson, Lewis, and Herkimer counties. The fiber and fiber tags will be provided by the Authority. Construction may be required to occur by segment with separate mobilizations to each location due to the non-contiguous nature of the project.
