Description

This solicitation is for Construction Management Services for the renewal of SFU's Shrum Science Centre Biology Building, which currently has issues such as water ingress and inadequate HVAC, plumbing, and power capacity. The renewal will upgrade approximately 8,463 square meters of the building. The Construction Manager will provide preconstruction advice, complete destructive testing, tender the project scope, and deliver the project as a Stipulated Price Construction Contract if elected. Tasks include managing site activities, developing schedules, preparing cost estimates, conducting constructability reviews, managing procurement, leading site supervision, coordinating design clarifications, and overseeing commissioning and project close-out.
