Durham Public Schools (DPS) is seeking a qualified contractor to establish a comprehensive life-safety compliance baseline for non-sprinklered elementary schools. The work involves inspection, inventory, documentation, reporting, and limited repair of fire-rated life safety systems across 20 facilities. The project is divided into two increments of 10 schools each, covering fire-rated doors, smoke-rated doors, fire and smoke dampers, firestop systems, penetration seals, and other fire-resistance-rated barrier assemblies.
