Description

This solicitation is for a Construction Manager-at-Risk to manage the renovation and expansion of BSL-3 suites at the Burnett-Womack building at UNC-Chapel Hill. The project involves reconfiguring approximately 5,000 square feet of the 13,900 square foot floor plate and renovating about 5,000 square feet of the ninth floor to create a 10,000 square foot BSL-3 Containment suite. Improvements to base building environmental systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, emergency power, and rooftop mechanical equipment installation are expected.
