The City of Culver City is seeking bids for its Annual Sidewalk, Curb, and Driveway Approach Improvement Project (PZ-428), managed by the Public Works Department. - Project scope includes: - Removal and replacement of approximately 22,957 square feet of uplifted sidewalk (4" PCC over 4" CMB) - Removal and replacement of 2,718 square feet of driveway approaches (8" PCC over 6" CMB) - Removal and replacement of 206 linear feet of PCC curb and gutter per SPPWC Std No. 120-3 - Mobilization, traffic control, construction surveying, and staking - Optional removal of up to 18 existing trees (18–48 inches in diameter) with stump grinding - Contractors must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services - Compliance with California labor laws, safety, environmental, and traffic control standards is required - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are mandated; standard construction materials and methods per city and SPPWC specifications - Electronic bid submission is required via the PlanetBids portal - Bid security of 10% of the total bid amount is required - Liquidated damages of $1,000 per calendar day apply for late completion - Work hours are limited to 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays
