Description

The Alaska Court System is soliciting bids for the exterior siding replacement of the Snowden Administration Building located at 820 W. 4th Avenue, Anchorage, AK. The project involves demolition of existing north side siding, signage, and windows down to supporting walls, followed by re-siding with new air barrier, insulation, and porcelain tile or phenolic resin panels. Additional work includes adding a concrete curb, decorative Alaska map sign, LED-lit signage, replacing curtain walls and entry door, wrapping part of the east side with new siding, and replacing flagpoles. There are two additive alternates: re-siding the east side's 1-story portion with phenolic resin panels and replacing windows, and an optional State of Alaska Seal. The work must commence by October 21, 2026, with substantial completion by July 31, 2027. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 5, 2026, and bids are due by August 19, 2026.
