Description

The Hawaii Public Utilities Commission issues this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit bids from qualified advisors to draft a report providing a strategic evaluation of costs, uncertainties, and risks for energy in Hawaii, known as SECURE HI, pursuant to SCR172 SD1 HD1 and addressing HR194 HD1 and SR163 SD1. The advisor will conduct a comprehensive analysis to maximize cost reduction and minimize financial risk to Hawaii residents while meeting state goals. The contract includes delivering preliminary and final reports to the Commission in advance of legislative deadlines and participating in working group meetings with state agencies, regulators, stakeholders, and legislators.
