Description

The University of Missouri, Museum of Anthropology has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects. They have determined a cultural affiliation between these remains and objects and several Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. The inventory includes human remains representing at least four individuals and 25 lots of associated funerary objects such as ceramic fragments, faunal fragments, projectile points, and other artifacts. Repatriation of these remains and objects may occur on or after August 31, 2026, and requests for repatriation must be sent to the University of Missouri, Museum of Anthropology.
