Description

PHMSA is confirming the effective date for a Direct Final Rule (DFR) published in the Federal Register on April 24, 2026. The rule amends PHMSA's regulations at 49 CFR part 192 to incorporate by reference the updated industry standard ASTM F2620, Standard Practice for Heat Fusion Joining of Polyethylene Pipe and Fittings.
