Description
This project involves the replacement of the existing rooftop chiller and air handling units located in the mechanical equipment rooms on the 4th, 5th, and 6th floors of the NYC Center. New fresh air intake louvers will be installed on the 56th Street façade at floors 4-6, and replacement louvers will be installed in the south mechanical rooms. A new fire separated assembly will be installed between the ceiling mounted air handler and the path of egress below. The project includes new structural, electrical, and plumbing work to support the mechanical upgrades.
