Description

Iowa State University, on behalf of the Food Science and Human Nutrition Department, is soliciting bids for a hyperspectral imaging system. The system will be used in dairy science research to acquire high-resolution near-infrared spectral images of cheese and other dairy products for non-destructive characterization of composition and quality attributes. It will support the development of predictive models, process monitoring, and graduate student training in advanced imaging, chemometrics, and artificial intelligence. The system is preferred to be delivered, installed, and fully operational by August 30, 2026.
