The City of Valdosta is soliciting bids for the Historic Downtown Valdosta Paver Repair, Root Trimming & Resetting Project. The project involves repairing, realigning, and resetting brick and concrete pavers throughout public sidewalks, plazas, and pedestrian ways in Historic Downtown Valdosta to eliminate trip hazards caused by heaved, settled, cracked, or displaced pavers and root intrusion. The scope includes a field survey, root management by a Certified Arborist, paver removal and base repair, resetting pavers to ADA compliance, joint and edge restoration, debris removal, traffic control, and protection of adjacent property.
