Description
The National Research Council Canada (NRC) is seeking to acquire a new four-probe bio-capacitance system for real-time measurement of viable cell concentration in up to four bioreactors simultaneously. The system must measure bio-capacitance at multiple frequencies to obtain capacitance distribution spectra, enabling calculation of critical cell culture parameters such as cell size and internal conductivity. The probes must be compatible with various bioreactor types and support multi-frequency scanning with real-time data capture via OPC-UA and 4–20 mA communication for integration into control loops. The contract duration is estimated at 13 months, starting approximately September 11, 2026.
