This opportunity involves the removal and installation of commercial-grade modular carpet and cove base at Little Rock Air Force Base, Building 1255, under the 19th Airlift Wing and 19th Comptroller Squadron. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 19th Airlift Wing and 19th Comptroller Squadron, Little Rock Air Force Base - OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers): - Mohawk - Engineered Floors - Interface Americas - Mannington - Tarkett - Bentley Mills - Johnsonite (for cove base) - Products/Services Requested: - Removal of approximately 4,283 sq ft of existing flooring and 1,071 linear feet of cove base - Installation of about 474 sq yards of commercial modular carpet (no padding) from specified OEMs - Installation of 1,071 linear feet of .080 thick, 4-inch-high vinyl or rubber cove base (Johnsonite or equal, color 29 Moonrock) - All adhesive and installation labor included - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractors must source carpet materials from designated Tier I OEMs - Work must comply with safety, environmental, and installation standards - 12-month workmanship warranty required - 100% small business set-aside (SBA participants only) - Firm fixed price contract - Mandatory site visit for interested offerors - Work to be completed within 45 days of material receipt or 90 days from contract award

Description

Contractor will remove the existing floor and cove base, furnish, and install new flooring and cove base at bldg 1255 in selected areas.

This requirement will follow procedures for the CONUS Carpet II Program. Contractors are required to source material quotes and orders from Tier I Contractors attached. A site visit will be held for this solicitation. Please see PWS and Addendum attachments for more information.
