The USDA Forest Service, Modoc National Forest, is seeking a certified laboratory to perform microbiological analysis of potable water samples from 22 drinking water systems in northern California. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Modoc National Forest - Services Requested: - Microbiological analysis of potable water samples, including coliform and fecal coliform/E. coli testing - Annual testing: 230 analyses per year, for a base year plus four option years (up to 1,150 analyses total) - Key Requirements: - Laboratory must be certified by the California State Water Board through the ELAP accreditation program - Lab must be located within two hours of Alturas, CA - Results must be reported within specified timeframes per California Code of Regulations (CCR, Title 23) - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; the opportunity is open to any qualified, certified laboratory - Notable Details: - Firm-fixed price requirements contract - Potential contract duration of up to five years, with a possible six-month extension - All water samples will be collected and delivered by Forest Service staff

Description

Contractor shall perform laboratory microbiological analysis for potable water in accordance with the California Code of Regulations (CCR, Title 23.  Vendor shall be certified with the State of California through the ELAP accreditation program and shall maintain that certification throughout the entirety of the contract period.  The drinking water samples will be collected and delivered to the lab by the Modoc National Forest staff.  The following attachments to this solicitation can be assessed via the "Attachments/Links" section of this posting: Attachment 1 - Terms and Conditions; Attachment 2 - Schedule of Items, Attachment 3 - Wage Determination.
