Annual Inspection, Replacement, and Disposal of Portable Fire Extinguishers at Robins AFB

This opportunity is for contractors to provide annual inspection, replacement, and disposal services for approximately 1,500 portable fire extinguishers at the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex (WR-ALC), Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. - Agency: Department of the Air Force, Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex - Scope of Work: - Annual inspection of about 1,500 portable fire extinguishers in buildings, vehicles, and other areas - Replacement of extinguishers that are six years old or defective - Disposal of extinguishers per NFPA 10, OSHA, and RCRA regulations - Emergency replacement within 24 hours for missing or severely damaged units - All work must comply with NFPA 10 and other applicable federal/local standards - Contractor must provide all tools, materials, equipment, labor, and travel - Replacement extinguishers must be UL listed, minimum 4-A:80-B:C rating, fully charged, and ready for use - Inspections must be completed within 90 days of contract award by certified technicians - No specific OEMs, brands, or part numbers are specified; replacement extinguishers must match original specifications - Opportunity is open to qualified vendors able to meet these requirements

This is a notice for all interested parties to perform a site visit concerning the annual inspection, replacement, and disposal of portable fire extinguishers at Robins Air Force Base, GA 31098.    

NOTE: COSTS INCURRED ARE AT THE INTERESTED PARTY’S EXPENSE. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY ANY ASSOCIATED COSTS WITH THE SITE VISIT.

The Contractor shall provide all tools, parts, materials, equipment, labor, and travel necessary for the annual inspection, replacement, and disposal of approximately 1500 portable fire extinguishers located within designated buildings, vehicles, and other areas for Warner Robins Air Logisitcs Complex (WR-ALC), at Robins AFB, GA.
