The U.S. Embassy Bogota's Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) is seeking quotations for a comprehensive supply of construction materials and tools to be delivered to Ccuta, Colombia. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL), U.S. Embassy Bogota - Products Requested: - Large quantities of construction materials, including: - 1,252 bags of gray cement (Type 1, Argos type) - 175 cubic meters of river sand - 181 cubic meters of gravel - 785 corrugated iron rods (1/2 inch x 6 m) - 1,525 architectural blocks - 475 treated wood planks and 390 untreated wood posts - 244 galvanized wire mesh fence panels and 305 galvanized posts - 408 integrated 40W solar panel LED street lights with motion sensor and Bluetooth control (8-year warranty) - Power tools and equipment, including grinders, saws, drills, wrecker hammer (Dewalt, Bosch, Milwaukee, Makita suggested), concrete mixer (Maquitierra MT, Forte suggested), inverter welders (Lincoln 135s suggested), and gasoline generator (Forte suggested) - Safety equipment: gloves, glasses, face shields, ladders - Various construction accessories: screws, clamps, paint, cables, extension cords, buckets, tape measures - Notable Requirements: - Delivery required within 90 days of order - Warranty and inspection provisions apply - Some items specify suggested brands (Dewalt, Bosch, Milwaukee, Makita, Lincoln, Forte, Maquitierra MT, Bellota) but equivalents are acceptable - LED street lights require solar panels, motion sensors, Bluetooth control, and an 8-year warranty - All items must meet specified technical and quality standards - No specific OEMs are mandated, but several well-known brands are referenced as benchmarks for quality.

Description

The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) at the U.S. Embassy in Bogota invites you to submit a quotation for the  acquisition of CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS AND TOOLS.

All interested sellers should submit the quotations according to the attached INL_RFQ-PR15832168 no later than September 2, 2026 at 4:00 pm via e-mail to LopezJF@state.gov and BogotaINLSolicitation@state.gov. No quotations will be accepted after this time.  

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.202, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested by this notice alone, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The resultant purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 12.
