This opportunity is for janitorial services at the USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Cattle Fever Tick Research Unit in Edinburg, TX. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Cattle Fever Tick Research Unit - Services Requested: - Comprehensive janitorial services for multiple buildings (laboratories, offices, restrooms, conference rooms, kitchens, and entryways) - Tasks include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom cleaning, vacuuming, glass cleaning, dusting, and floor maintenance - Services required twice weekly for each building - Buildings covered: Building 1 (3,204 sq ft), Building 2 (512 sq ft), Building 3 (250 sq ft), Building 17 (3,300 sq ft), Building 21 (5,017 sq ft) - Period of Performance: - One-year base period with four one-year option periods (up to five years total) - Possible six-month extension at same rates and terms - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must comply with USDA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) requirements - Government provides consumables (trash bags, cleaning supplies) - Performance monitored via weekly inspections; corrective actions required for deficiencies - Award based on lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror with acceptable or neutral past performance - No specific OEMs or product manufacturers are named in the solicitation

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
