The U.S. Air Force, through the 17th Contracting Squadron at Goodfellow Air Force Base, is seeking small business contractors for HVAC air duct cleaning and decontamination services at Building 246. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command (AETC), 17th Training Wing, 17th Contracting Squadron, Goodfellow AFB, TX - Products/Services Requested: - HVAC air duct cleaning and decontamination for Building 246 - Cleaning of approximately 149 linear feet of supply duct work - Cleaning of two return air ducts and plenums, two HVAC units, eleven registers and grilles, two blower assemblies, and two evaporator coils - Application of EPA-registered anti-microbial treatments in two distribution plenums - Creation of up to ten access points for cleaning - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compliance with UFGS 23 01 30.41 HVAC System Cleaning and NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaners Association) standards - All labor, equipment, and materials must be provided by the contractor - Work must be performed Monday through Friday, 0830-1530, excluding federal holidays and specified down days - Service Contract Act and base access procedures apply - Total small business set-aside under NAICS 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors) - Firm Fixed Price contract; award based on technical acceptability and lowest price - No specific OEMs or part numbers are mentioned in the solicitation or attachments

Description

This solicitation is for Building 246 HVAC Duct cleaning services at Goodfellow AFB, TX. The requirement will be solicited as a request for written quotation and evaluated under procedures of RFO Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. This requirement is being solicited as 100% Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million. The anticipated award date is on or about 01 Sept 2026.
