Description

The City of Evanston is soliciting bids for the installation of artistic lighting on bridge viaducts. The work includes installation of lighting and fixtures, with connection to specified power sources, for five UP-owned Metra Bridges at Church Street, Davis Street, Dempster Street, Main Street, and Howard Street, and one CTA-owned bridge on Church Street. The contractor will be responsible for installing City-owned lights and control equipment, as well as providing all other electrical equipment including wiring and mounting. The project is funded by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds and must be completed by December 31, 2026. Bids are to be submitted electronically via DemandStar by August 25, 2026.
