This solicitation is for the procurement of a prairie seed mix to be planted on 15 acres of former farmland at Hobart Marsh. The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) staff will perform the planting. The seed mix includes 56 native plant species known to occur near the Hobart Marsh restoration site in Lake County, Indiana, and must be cleaned, processed, and ready for pick up by DNR staff. Seeds with genotype originating outside Indiana or any substitutes will not be accepted. Bidders must submit a completed bid package by September 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM EST, and all questions must be emailed by August 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
