Hall County Government, Georgia, is seeking qualified contractors to furnish and install new water supply lines at River Forks Park & Campground in Gainesville, GA. - Government Buyer: - Hall County Government, Financial Services Purchasing Division - Project managed by Andrew Youngblood - Scope of Work: - Installation of approximately 14,000 linear feet of new water lines, including: - 4" PVC water main line (9,476 ft) - 1-1/2" PVC water service line (1,952 ft) - 3/4" PVC water service line (2,394 ft) - Tracer tape and wire in main & service lines (13,822 ft) - 3/4" water yard hydrants (67 units) - Water valves: 4" (26), 1-1/2" (11), 3/4" (69) - RPZ backflow preventer assembly (4") - Pipe bends (41), tees (17) - Tie-ins to existing services (17) and water vault (1) - Erosion control: Type C silt fence (12,401 ft), tree save fence (2,480 ft), temporary and permanent stabilization, miscellaneous measures - Open cut road crossing (2,165 ft), pavement/concrete restoration (481 ft), demolition/removal as necessary - Construction entrance - Notable Requirements: - Contractors must be licensed, insured, and bonded in Georgia - Mandatory on-site pre-bid meeting - Submission of both hard copy and digital bid documents - 5% bid bond, 100% performance and payment bonds - Liquidated damages of $247 per day for delays - All work must comply with Hall County construction standards and detailed engineering plans - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are named; focus is on construction and installation services for water lines
