Sources Sought: The 36th Contracting Squadron is publicizing this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to gather industry interest and information with respect to a potential Purchase Order for OMAX Renovation/Upgrade at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.This requirement is for an upgrade of the waterjet bed size of 5' × 10', larger capacity tank and a modernized water filtration system. The increased tank size is required to meet expanded operational throughput, reduce refill frequency, and align with MFTO approved standardized equipment specifications. The upgraded filtration system is necessary to ensure water quality, improve reliability, and reduce maintenance burden compared to the legacy system.
No solicitation is being issued at this time. This is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Any future solicitation, including specifications, will be made available on the System for Award Management website (https://www.sam.gov/). Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for the release of a solicitation package and/or any updates/amendments. Oral submissions of information will not be considered in response to this Sources Sought. If the Government decides to pursue a solicitation, portions of your responses to this Sources Sought may be incorporated into the final solicitation. Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary.
This requirement will be solicited within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333310 - Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing.
All interested parties are invited to respond and prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov/ before award of a government contract; failure to register in the SAM database will cause your firm to be ineligible for any future award.
