Description

This project involves the reconstruction of Taxiway C from its intersection with Taxiway S to the Runway 6 End, including excavation, disposal of existing pavement materials, removal and replacement of lighting systems, drainage pipes, and catch basins, installation of new pavement and markings, and restoration of disturbed areas. An add alternate includes similar reconstruction work for Taxiway R from the Runway 6 End to its intersection with Taxiway J and the Connecticut Air National Guard Apron. The work also includes water line relocation and installation of new taxiway edge lighting systems, guidance signs, and elevated runway guard lights.
