The County of San Diego is preparing to release a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Progressive Design Build Entity (DBE) to deliver the Behavioral Health Wellness Campus. The project involves developing a comprehensive behavioral health campus on approximately 8.24 acres at 3851 Rosecrans Street, San Diego, adjacent to the existing Psychiatric Hospital. The campus will integrate crisis stabilization, residential treatment, outpatient care, recovery support, and other critical behavioral health programs. The project is supported by nearly $99.5 million in State Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program funding and County funds, with a required completion date of June 2031.
