Description
The U.S. Department of Commerce has issued a final affirmative determination that steel concrete reinforcing bar (rebar) from Egypt is being, or is likely to be, sold in the United States at less than fair value. The investigation period covers April 1, 2024, through March 31, 2025. The determination includes estimated weighted-average dumping margins for specific producers and exporters. The Department will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to continue suspension of liquidation and require cash deposits based on these margins. The International Trade Commission will make a final injury determination following this.
