This manual provides guidance on planning, conducting, evaluating, and documenting environmental radiological surveys of surface soils and building surfaces to demonstrate compliance with regulations. Revision 2 updates the science, clarifies methods, and incorporates lessons learned from over 25 years of use, replacing the previous version last updated in 2001.
