The Guilford County School System is seeking bids for a partial roof replacement at Northeast Middle School in Greensboro, NC. - Government Buyer: - Guilford County School System - Purchasing Director: Velicia Moore - Scope of Work: - Removal of approximately 14,000 sq ft of existing ballasted EPDM roofing membrane, recovery board, built-up membrane, wood nailer, and insulation down to the original concrete deck - Installation of a new insulation system with at least two layers of polyisocyanurate foam boards, a gypsum overlayment board, and spray-on urethane foam adhesive - Application of a fleece backed PVC single-ply membrane fully adhered to the insulation assembly - Installation of new perimeter wood nailers, edge metal, and all required sheet metal fabrications - Warranty & Inspection: - Roofing system must be installed under ongoing inspections by the membrane manufacturer - System must be eligible for a 20-year NDL (No Dollar Limit) material and labor warranty - Contractor Requirements: - Bidders must be properly licensed general contractors with at least an UNLIMITED BUILDING or S (ROOFING) classification - Compliance with E-Verify requirements - OEMs & Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; membrane manufacturer inspection is required - Notable Requirements: - All work must comply with the specified warranty and inspection standards - Project completion required within 120 calendar days after notice to proceed
