Description
Reminder: On March 15th, 2025, and on December 11th 2025 the Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS) released SAMs Notices notifying anti-ram manufacturers that after December 31st, 2026, only anti-ram barriers tested to ASTM 2656 and achieving a M30/40/50 P1 rating will be listed on the DS-Approved List of Anti-Ram Barriers.
Barriers that no longer meet Department requirements will be listed as “Unapproved” and removed from the DS-Approved List and Department personnel will be notified that such unapproved barriers should not be purchased or installed for new projects and should be replaced when required per Department policies and procedures.
Please consider this notification an additional reminder about the upcoming December 31st, 2026, deadline.
