The Department of Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System Microbiology Department is seeking FDA-approved rapid syndromic molecular testing reagents and consumables for infectious disease diagnostics using RT-PCR technology. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Puget Sound Health Care System, Microbiology Department - Products/Services Requested: - Rapid molecular assay cartridges and reagents for: - Clostridioides difficile (including epidemic 027 strain) - SARS-CoV-2 (single and multiplex with Influenza A/B and RSV) - Multiplex Vaginal Panel (Candida, Trichomonas, bacterial vaginosis) - Group A Streptococcus - Mycobacterium tuberculosis with Rifampicin resistance - MRSA (from various sample types) - Gastrointestinal (GI) pathogen panel - Carba-R (metallo-beta-lactamase genes) - vanA gene (VRE risk) - Norovirus (GI and GII) - BCR-ABL quantitative test - Factor II and Factor V Leiden genotyping - Swab specimen collection kits compatible with all assays - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All reagents must be FDA-approved and suitable for rapid, on-demand RT-PCR testing - Reagents must be stored at 2-28°C (no refrigeration required) - Shipping must comply with IATA regulations - Swab kits must be compatible with all listed assays and support various sample types (vaginal, nasopharyngeal, viral transport media, etc.) - No specific OEMs, brands, part numbers, or quantities are specified in the available documentation
