NASA Sole Source Procurement: AVS Standard Industrial PC Upgrade

NASA Glenn Research Center is seeking a sole source procurement for an AVS Standard PC Upgrade from AVS, INCORPORATED. - The upgrade is for a single industrial PC with Windows 11 Pro, intended for use in a specialized environment. - Hardware includes: Intel i5-14500T CPU, 32GB DDR5 memory, RAID 1 dual 1TB SSDs, multiple USB and display ports, fanless design, and CE certification. - Software upgrades include: PLC programming, HMI runtime, and Wanderware machine edition. - The procurement is limited to authorized resellers, who must provide proof of manufacturer pricing and authorization. - The period of performance is 15 weeks after receipt of order (ARO). - The opportunity falls under NAICS code 541519 (Other Computer Related Services). - No competing products or alternative solutions are specified, but similar industrial PC solutions from other OEMs may exist.

Synopsis:

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for AVS Standard PC Upgrade. 

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to AVS, INCORPORATED, 60 Fitchburg RD Ayer, Massachusetts 01432-1004, under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). It has been determined that AVS, INCORPORATED is the sole provider of AVS Standard PC Upgrade

NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Glenn Research Center (GRC).

The Government intends to acquire Commercial items or services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 for Commercial

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541519.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 8:00 a.m. Central Standard Time on 8/5/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
