The Department of the Navy, Marine Corps Installations West (MCIWEST) Fire & Emergency Services is seeking a contractor to provide annual on-site flow testing, inspection, maintenance, repair, and recertification for Scott Safety 3M brand Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) equipment across multiple Marine Corps bases in California. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy - Marine Corps Installations West (MCIWEST) - Fire & Emergency Services Departments - OEM Highlight: - Scott Safety 3M is the specified and required Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for all SCBA equipment serviced - Products/Equipment to be Serviced: - SCBA harnesses and masks (standard and modified for CBRNE) - Additional SCBA masks (standard and modified for CBRNE) - Confined space escape packs - Rapid Intervention Crew (RIC) drag bags - Quantities by Location: - Camp Pendleton: 159 SCBA harnesses/masks, 83 additional masks, 9 escape packs, 14 RIC drag bags - MCAS Miramar: 75 harnesses/masks, 35 additional masks, 0 escape packs, 3 RIC drag bags - MCLB Barstow: 25 harnesses/masks, 15 additional masks, 10 escape packs, 5 RIC drag bags - MCAGCC 29 Palms: 80 harnesses/masks, 35 additional masks, 0 escape packs, 3 RIC drag bags - MCMWTC Bridgeport: 45 harnesses/masks, 20 additional masks, 10 escape packs, 5 RIC drag bags - Service Requirements: - Annual on-site service by certified technicians - Compliance with NFPA, OSHA, and OEM standards - Data management and reporting within 30 days of testing - Repair authorization and adherence to safety/environmental regulations - Notable Requirements: - Only Scott Safety 3M brand equipment is covered - Contractor must provide an annual testing schedule and deliver testing data promptly - Hundreds of units serviced annually across multiple installations

Description

The Contractor shall provide all management, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, and services necessary to deliver a on-site SCBA flow testing on Scott Safety 3M brand equipment. Services shall be performed by certified technicians on an annual basis.

The Scott Safety 3M brand SCBA equipment types are as follows:

SCBA Harness and Mask (Standard and Modified for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE)) Additional SCBA Masks (Standard and Modified for CBRNE) Confined Space Escape Packs Rapid Intervention Crew (RIC) Drag Bag

The on-site services shall be performed aboard the following locations: aboard Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Pendleton (CPEN), Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar, Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) Barstow, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) Twentynine (29) Palms and Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center (MCMWTC) Bridgeport.
