The U.S. Air Force, through the 47th Contracting Squadron at Laughlin AFB, TX, is soliciting maintenance services for 86 aircraft sunshades. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 47 CONS-CC, Laughlin AFB, TX - Scope of Work: - Scheduled 6-month inspections of 86 sunshades - Emergency and urgent inspections as needed - Maintenance and repairs covering structure, fabric, lighting, electric components, bird nesting mitigation, lightning protection, obstruction lighting, safety reflective devices, and fall protection - Contractor must provide all management, labor, tools, and materials - Products/Services Requested: - 2 scheduled inspections per period - 5 emergency/urgent inspections per period - 1 lot of maintenance and repairs per period - Services repeated annually for up to five years (base plus four option years) - Unique Requirements: - Work must comply with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) - Set aside for small businesses, including women-owned and HUBZone firms - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or manufacturers are named; sunshade maintenance is generic and open to qualified providers - Notable Details: - Contract is firm-fixed-price - Emphasis on safety, reliability, and compliance with Air Force standards

Description

This requirement is for Non-Personal Sunshade Maintenance Service for Laughlin AFB, TX. The work will be performed in accordance with (IAW) the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and will consist of preventative maintenance which is the Air Force policy for existing aircraft sun shade sustainment. The objective is to maintain safe and reliable aircraft sun shades. Service provider shall sustain aircraft shades through scheduled inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair of deficiencies. Scope of service consist of management, labor, tools, and materials necessary to inspect, maintain and repair or replace aircraft sun shades, to include: structure, fabric (as applicable), light, electric, bird nesting mitigation, lighting protection, obstruction lighting, safety reflective devices, fall protection as applicable.
