Description
The U.S. Department of the Interior, Joint Administrative Operations, on behalf of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, intends to award a sole-source purchase order to the Museum of the Aleutians, Dutch Harbor, Alaska. The requirement includes review, stabilization, cataloging, archival rehousing, digitization, database entry, and permanent curation of archaeological collections from the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge.Competition is lacking because the Museum of the Aleutians is the only known repository meeting 36 CFR part 79 standards that accepts permanent curation of archaeological collections originating from the Aleutian Islands.No qualification requirement as defined by FAR 2.101 applies. All responsible sources may submit a response, which will be considered by the agency, no later than 1:00 p.m. Central Time on August 9, 2026.
