Description
Canada is seeking offers to provide Dummy Cord Detonating, Inert, which replicates the size, shape, and handling characteristics of live detonating cord but contains no explosive or initiating components. This inert cord is used to develop correct techniques and confidence prior to working with live explosive components, enhancing safety and competence. The contract requires delivery of 300,000 feet to Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot (CFAD) Dundurn, Saskatchewan, and 300,000 feet to CFAD Angus, Ontario, by or before 15 May 2027. The contract duration is 5 months starting from 1 December 2026, and the procurement method is competitive open bidding with selection based on lowest price.
