The Kayenta Health Center, under the Indian Health Service, is seeking a contractor for a security infrastructure upgrade at its facility. - Government Buyer: - Kayenta Health Center Acquisition Department, Indian Health Service, Kayenta Service Unit - Scope of Work: - Replacement and installation of a 6x10 ft bulletproof security guard shack - Level 3 ballistic glass windows, doors, and panels - Includes electrical disconnect and reconnection - Removal of existing security booth - Furnishing and installing eight crash-resistant steel bollards - Steel bollards must be capable of stopping a 5000 lb vehicle at 30 mph - Bollards must be removable and installed per ASTM F2656 standards - Concrete pour and 3 ft depth installation required - Compliance with NFPA, NEC, and ASTM F2656 standards is mandatory - Travel and per diem costs for contractor personnel are included - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the opportunity is open to qualified suppliers of bulletproof guard shacks and crash-rated bollards - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Guard shack must meet Level 3 ballistic protection - Bollards must be removable and meet crash resistance standards - All work must comply with relevant safety and construction codes
