This opportunity is for specialized software support services for the Naval Postgraduate School's (NPS) Calhoun DSpace institutional repository, managed by the Dudley Knox Library. - Government Buyer: - Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD), Contracting Department, Code 200 - Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego, Contract Specialist - OEMs and Vendors: - DuraSpace (DSpace) - Only Authorized DSpace Registered Service Providers are eligible - Products/Services Requested: - DSpace Institutional Repository Support Services, including: - Software upgrades (lifecycle upgrades to DSpace 9 LTS and future versions) - Configuration and dependency management - NPS-specific customizations (including 19 enhancement workpackages) - Module delivery and maintenance - Technical support and monitoring - Integration with NPS single sign-on systems - Incident status updates and project documentation - All work is to be performed remotely - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Brand name restriction: Only DSpace Registered Service Providers may respond - The repository is mission-critical, holding over 71,000 items and requiring 99.7% uptime - Small business set-aside - Firm fixed price contract - Multi-year contract: base year plus four one-year option periods - Deliverables include regular incident status updates and project documentation

Description

Duraspace / DSpace Institutional Repository Support Services at Naval Postgraduate School Dudley Knox Library. 

The scope of this contract includes DSpace upgrades, configuration and dependency management, customizations, delivered and maintained modules, and technical support and monitoring.

The Government contemplates award of firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order from this solicitation. The resultant purchase order in accordance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) provided herein.

This requirement has 2 restrictions on competition as noted below: - This is a Brand Name requirement for only Authorized DSpace Registered Service Providers - This is a total small business set-aside, and only small businesses will be considered for award
