Description
SEE THE PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS) FOR DETAILS
Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) requires the complete removal, disposal, and replacement of outdated warehouse racking within building 6-1. The current racking system is obsolete and presents maneuverability hazards for 6-1 personnel due to the narrow aisles. To Resolve our issues with the aisles spacing we have created a new layout that removes one row of racking and distributes the extra space to the remaining aisles. Due to the possibility of hitting overhead hazards while moving inventory we cannot increase the total area the racks cover. We ask that the contractor follows the drawing “BLDG_6-1 Racking Updated.pdf” as closely as possible while prioritizing that the distance between the first and last row is the exact same as the current racks.
