NASA Kennedy Space Center is seeking to procure a VICI Tras Gas Analyzer with External Deoxo Provision and associated installation services from VALCO INSTRUMENTS CO INC. - Sole source procurement under FAR 12.102(a) for commercial items - Equipment: VICI Tras Gas Analyzer (OEM Part # T8442W-7T-PP1He) - Complete chromatographic unit with advanced automation and data acquisition software - Includes valves, columns, 2 PDHID detectors, embedded PC with touchscreen, Helium Purifier, and rear panel bulkhead fittings - Service: Valco Instruments TGA Install Service (Part # TGA-Install) - Onsite training and setup over 2 days, optional Factory Acceptance Testing in Houston - Additional training billed at $250/hr in 4-hour increments - Ensures compatibility with existing lab infrastructure and minimizes implementation risk - Delivery and installation at Kennedy Space Center - Period of performance: 20 weeks after receipt of order - NAICS code: 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing) - Interested vendors may submit capabilities, but NASA reserves the right to proceed with sole source if no alternatives are found

Description

Synopsis:

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for VICI Tras Gas Analyzer. 

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to   VALCO INSTRUMENTS CO INC  under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). It has been determined that   VALCO INSTRUMENTS CO INC  is the sole provider of VICI Tras Gas Analyzer

NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Kennedy Space Center (KSC).

The Government intends to acquire Commercialitems or services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 for Commercial

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334516.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on 8/3/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
