Description

The City Park Revitalization Project aims to revitalize the historic 20-acre City Park in Corona, California, by adding new recreational amenities while preserving its historic character and mature trees. The project includes constructing a new 70,000-square-foot Community Center with various facilities such as administrative offices, gymnasium, game room, banquet and conference facilities, classrooms, group fitness space, locker rooms, public restrooms, and outdoor patios. Additionally, a new Aquatics Center will feature a 10-lane competition pool, recreation activity pool, lazy river, water slides, hot tub, pool maintenance building, and shaded gathering areas. Other park improvements include a multi-use turf field, splash pad, playground, basketball courts, skate park, walking loop, picnic shelters, restroom/shower building, parking lots with EV charging stations, landscaping, lighting, utility upgrades, and tree preservation and relocation.
