Description

The project involves cutting non-merchantable trees by hand and with a masticator. All cut and down woody material will be hand and/or machine piled on approximately 118 acres. The goal is to reduce wildfire hazard by reducing the abundance and density of surface fuels comprised of woody material. The solicitation is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC). The project is open for bids from July 29, 2026, to August 26, 2026.
